Buy, restore, change or cancel

A purchase is confirmed when the provider validates it, not when you return from checkout.

1. Before paying you see what you are buying: plan, features, period, price and currency, taxes, renewal, how to cancel and the applicable document. For a subscription you tick the auto-renewal box separately.
2. Bought with Apple: “Restore purchases” recovers your subscription on another iPhone; cancel it in Settings › your name › Subscriptions.
3. On iPhone, below the plans: the subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, and the Terms of Use (EULA) and the privacy policy are right there.
4. Bought on the web by card: “Cancel renewal” in Membership notifies the provider; your plan stays until the end of the paid period and the status changes when the provider confirms it. With PayPal, cancel it in your PayPal account (Automatic payments).
5. States: active, trial, payment pending, grace period, cancellation scheduled, canceled, refunded or disputed. None affects your reputation.
