How to read Markets: unit, stage and comparability

Each price keeps its source, date, unit and commercial stage.

  1. Shipping-point FOB is not an invoice price; different destinations are not averaged.
  2. Without net weight per box, it isn't converted to kilograms: the comparison is partial.
  3. A Min–Max range is a real report, not a carry-over. No midpoint is invented; Avg uses only point prices and n counts both points and ranges.
  4. Series retain origin, packaging, source and date. Different specifications are not averaged and different report dates are not compared.
  5. Without real history, no trend is drawn.
  6. A “carry-over” copies the last report on a day without publication: it's flagged and excluded from summaries.
